Anger Management

Your Price: $375

Description

Anger is a universal experience. Dogs get angry, bees get angry, and so do humans. You don’t have to be a psychologist to know that managing anger productively is something few individuals, organizations, and societies do well. Yet research tells us that those who do manage their anger at work are much more successful than those who don’t.

The co-worker who can productively confront his teammate about his negative attitude increases his team’s chance of success as well as minimizes destructive conflicts. The customer service agent who can defuse the angry customer not only keeps her customers loyal but makes her own day less troublesome. This workshop is to help give you and your organization that edge.

Description

A leader’s understanding of how to influence others begins with an understanding of self. Our Science of Self Series applies validated assessments to uncover and confirm our intuitive understanding of ourselves.

DISC is the most widely used behavioral assessment tool, measuring four behavioral styles: dominance, influence, steadiness and compliance. DISC measures “how” a person behaves. Based on behavioral psychology, our unique Success Insights ® DISC assessment reveals your preferred behavioral styles. In this workshop we educate you on the various styles and equip you with the tools to utilize your strengths and compensate for your blind spots.

Prior to the workshop, each participant will take the online Success Insights ® DISC Assessment. By ranking items “most like me” and “least like me” they will identify how they respond to problems, people, pace, and procedures.

Our validated assessment is EEOC compliant and accurately identifies a preference for one or more of the styles.

Emotional Intelligence

Your Price: $385

Description

Emotional intelligence, also called EQ, is the ability to be aware of and to manage emotions and relationships. It's a pivotal factor in personal and professional success. IQ will get you in the door, but it is your EQ, your ability to connect with others and manage the emotions of yourself and others, that will determine how successful you are in life.

We have all worked with and listened to brilliant people. Some of them were great and ...well, some were not so great. The mean and the meek and all those in between can teach us more than they realize. When we look at the truly extraordinary people who inspire and make a difference you will see that they do this by connecting with people at a personal and emotional level. What differentiated them was not their IQ but their EQ - their emotional intelligence. This one-day workshop will give you the EQ edge.

Each participant will receive their personalized EQ Assessment and Report to have a baseline for self-awareness.

“Conflict is the beginning of Consciousness” – M. Esther Harding

There are two major myths about conflict: that it always involves anger and that it's always negative. Conflict can actually be a positive tool for growth if you know how to manage it properly. This one-day course will teach participants just how to do that.

In ETI's Science of Self series we combine DISC, a behavioral style instrument, and Driving Forces, a motivational assessment, to explore personal tendencies and preferences of each participant.  This workshop positions you and your staff members to increase the productive nature of working relationships.

You will learn the predominant behaviors of the four DISC profiles and your preferred behaviors. Additionally, we apply the science of motivation to understand our intrinsic motivators. Applied in a team setting, a greater understanding of others’ preferred behaviors and driving forces gets immediate results from better communication and less questioning of hidden motives. Team members will approach conflict in a positive way to produce greater results, not disharmony.

Objectives Upon successful completion of this program, participants will be able to:
